Hello magic players!

This Uro deck is very budget friendly: without Uro himself the deck will cost around $30 at the time I made this.

How to play the deck:

1. Cast Uro from the command zone and let him die.
2. Play mill spells like Tome Scour which is probably the best one in here.
3. Escape Uro.
4. Slam auras on Uro and win with voltron. If Uro dies, send him back to the graveyard and escape him with all the auras that died with him.
5. How to protect Uro: you have some counterspells like Negate and protection spells like Alpha Authority . I recommend upgrading the deck to cut some mill spells and adding more counters like Arcane Denial and of course Counterspell .
6. You will be dumping your hand fast: therefore get a Tatyova, Benthic Druid if you don't already have one. Zimone, Quandrix Prodigy is a budget version that isn't horrible, but Tatyova is better. In this regard, Future Sight is your best friend and you can really pop off with it.

How to upgrade the deck:

Replace many of the mill spells with control spells like Swan Song or Beast Within . My actual paper version of this deck uses these. Be sure to include a lot of mill spells anyways.

Also, build a better mana base. This is bare minimum. When changing the lands, keep them straight even. Uro's escape cost can actually be hard to activate.

For mana dorks, only pick dorks that produce mana of any color. This guarantees you can escape Uro. This includes (but isn't limited to) Birds of Paradise , Arcane Signet , Utopia Tree , etc. You won't need too many of those.
