Urza's back and he's hungry for blood. Being a mono-blue deck means control, artifacts and infinite combos! This deck has dropped power level a bit with losing Paradox Engine but with the other infinite mana combos it still performs very well! Drop the tools you need and win big with Urza's ability (and Training Grounds) to cast out your entire deck.

Win Cons

Laboratory Maniac/Jace, Wielder of Mysteries in combination with Urza, Master Artificer's last ability are the main win cons of the deck. Infinite mana and lots of draw/spells.

Infinite Mana/Activations

How do we get infinite mana to do these things? We have 3 main options for infinite mana:

• Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth
• Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter with 3 artifacts out or a Gilded Lotus
• Metalworker + Voltaic Construct with 2 artifacts in hand (1 artifact in hand if you have Training Grounds/Heartstone out)

In addition to the Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter combo we have included Copy Artifact + Narset's Reversal . Use Copy Artifact on Isochron Scepter imprinting Narset's Reversal will allow us to cast our draw or counter spells and bounce them back to our hand. This essentially puts "Buyback 2" on every spell we cast.

Urza's tap for mana ability also allows us to use Static Orb and Howling Mine to only our advantage being able to tap them down at the end step before our upkeep.

Yes I know everyone is going cEDH builds with Urza, but I feel there is no other way to go with him. People are going to see you playing Urza and will automatically assess you as the threat...so BE THE THREAT! This deck should be a blast to play and can be piloted easily and will stay competitive in most LGS metas.
