After years of not playing, I've gotten back into the game and updated my favorite all time casual play deck. Urza's Ego is a classic burning bridges deck with a few twists. The basic strategy is to use Grafted Skullcap + Ensaring Bridge to shut down attackers while employing the Urza lands to pump out unholy amounts of mana for massive burn spells or decking (in this version using Banefire and Sands of Delirium). Tormod's Crypt and Elixir of Immortality help maintain card advantage while allowing you to exile most of the oponent's deck. Faithless Looting and Browbeat provide quick deck cycling. If you cant tell, this deck was designed during a fit of rage against weenie/opposition decks, Pyroclasm and Shard Phoenix wipe the board and allow more time to set up. Engineered explosives is of course in there to wipe out anything I can't deal with such as enchantments (historically Pernicious Deed) or plansewalkders.
