This is a deck I've been piloting and building around since early Theros, with some small modifications post-BNG.

The original idea in early theros was to build mono-blue devotion and splash white for Spear of Heliod as a Master of Waves token-safeguard, and the deck evolved from blue aggression into a slower-paced, midrange blue/white deck based around controlling the opponent's boardstate with UW control removal and swinging with consistent beaters in Thassa, AEtherling and Master of Waves.

I have tested this deck with Sphinx's Revelation in the Jace, AoT slot and saw that the deck truly benefits from the life gain which is elsewhere unavailable in the deck. Two Sphinx's are in the acquireboard and I intend to slot them in alongside the Jaces at the expense of possibly Tidebinder Mage (to be side-boarded). The remaining two Temple of Enlightenments will also help iron out the mana-fixing and remove the guildgates.

This deck has been consistently 3-1ing at FNM, and I am looking for feedback to help it push over the edge for a 4-0 in the near future.
