The defenders of Meletis apparently are pretty cheap, must be a recession

Overall Goal- Play dudes, use tricks to protect them and make them bigger until you can beat your opponent into the ground with your unbelievably slim curve

CARD BREAKDOWN:

Favored Hoplite : This guy comes down early and gets in fat for some sweet first blood damage and does require answering, which is always nice for a one drop.

Hopeful Eidolon: Early in the game this guy gets pumped, wears pants well and gets you out of bed on the right foot. Late in the game this guy can all but end a damage race and trigger that sweet sweet heroic.

Battlewise Hoplite There is nothing not to love about bears with cool abilities. Scry is very relevant and making your guy big even more so.

Phalanx Leader : This is the build around of the deck. You lay this guy down, you get his little army out, you protect him and use him to grow your team and smash your opponent. I don't think I have to explain how cool this effect is.

Fabled Hero: The top curve in the deck and the heaviest hitter. This guy hugely punishes your opponent if they don't answer him because in this deck he will take over the board if not answered. (Fun fact Fabled Hero + Hidden Strings = your opponent will cry) I'm not sure if I prefer Banisher Priest here but I'm kinda all in so I'm with the Hero for now

Gods Willing: This is a one mana spell that triggers heroic, protects form removal, or lets you man get through for nice amounts of damage. I like it

Triton Tactics: This is quite possibly the most unfair spell in the deck. Being able to shut down two of your opponents guys for an extra turn and trigger two heroics for one mana and save two blockers to attack next turn unopposed is just too much. I cant even explain how undervalued this card is

Hidden Strings: Okay so, playing this on your Favored Hoplite targeting him and untapping a land, then hitting targeting him again and your other land leaves your opponent staring down a 3/4 that's threatening to get bigger and two land just waiting protect said 3/4. Doom Blade or GTFO my friend!

Dauntless Onslaught : This is too dang handy. You can lay it down on an Eidolon to swing some of those precious life counters back in your favor or just trigger two heroics and get in for unfair amounts of damage. I'm not quite sure if this slot should go to Azorius Charm but I'll keep on testing

Brave the Elements Not the most synergistic, but I still like the slot. This is a weenie deck at heart and they always need a way to get past those pesky blockers.

Check it out, please comment any feedback, do whatever it is you guys do. I know this deck is pretty generic but I'm working on the modifications and I could definitely use help side-boarding. I'm pretty new to Standard so I might be overvaluing these cards
