I wanted to run Izzet, but after looking at the cards, it just seemed lackluster, but after adding in another color it feels better.
Anger of the Gods: Board Clear 1? Check.
Supreme Verdict: Board Clear 2? Check.
Azorius Charm: Versatile little sucker. Can either give you lifelink, return an attacking creature to the top of their deck, delaying them for a turn or allowing you to draw a card.
2 Celestial Flare: One good monster causing you problems? Well good bye then
2 Counterflux: Decent counter and a cheap overload costs allows possible two for one's or even more for ones
Cyclonic Rift: Either a simple bounce or a useful late game board clear that doesn't target you.
Detention Sphere Gods or other Indestructible creatures keeping you down? Give them the D Sphere and smile.
Rapid Hybridization Our answer to Blood Baron, Stormbreath Dragon, anything that dodges our other removal.
Sphinx's Revelation: Life gain and hand fill, such a beauitful card. If only it didn't cost so much $ i'd run a full set.
Stormbreath Dragon Primary win con, fly over and swing, protection against a fair amount of the removal in the format.
Swan Song Counter something good with this and the 2/2 bird won't even matter. I'm pretty sure they'd rather have your Stormbreath Dragon out of the picture rather then a 2/2 chump blocker.
Turn / Burn:Versatile, Either two damage to whatever you want, preventing a flyer from blocking you, or if you have the mana, kill a bulky creature with ease
