This deck is based off of making a really solid, easy and fun to play mono black vampires that have the best synergy with each other. and make them very powerful.
Vampire Nocturnus is a must have for any solid vampire deck out there as he gives other vampires a nice bonus and importantly flying which can change the course of a match.
Bloodline Keeper
is here because he slow swarms the field with vampires and when he tranforms automatically makes every vampire he spawns a 4/4 with flying in addition to whatever other bonuses may be given to vampires.
Crypt Ghast is a really good mana ramp and can exhort mid game for some direct life burn and gain.
Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet not quite as powerful as his alter ego Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet but can kill enemy creatures for a low mana cost and make potentially big vampires.
Captivating Vampire can take key cards or powerful creatures away from the enemy and make them vampires so they add to the brood and get the bonuses given by the buffer vampires and adds in a nice buff for other vampires.
Vampire Cutthroat is a good 1 mana drop that gives pecking damage and life, but gets hilariously big later with the bonuses and can make a beefy vampire blocker or attacker, assuming he is out at the same time as the buffers.
Gifted Aetherborn a non flying Vampire Nighthawk that works pretty well either offensively or defensively and provides a nice life gain.
Vampire Nighthawk one of the best frontline fighter vampires out there need I say more?
guuz draz assassin can control the board when he gets fully leveled up and works very well in conjunction with Grasp of Darkness to be able to kill most creatures in magic.
Grasp of Darkness one of the best removals available since it can hit anything, and can even kill indestructible creatures and regen due to the fact that it doesn't destroy them and regen can't affect something that simply no longer exists and works very well with guuz draz assassin
Whip of Erebos works mostly for the vampires that don't happen to have lifegain and as the vampires get bigger makes for a pretty substantial lifegain.
Coat of Arms an essential card for any tribal style deck, makes all of the vampires stupendously huge and can work as a potential game ender.
Gray Merchant of Asphodel he's not technically a vampire but he acts as a bomb as a replacement to Malakir Bloodwitch because he counts the devotion of the cards and not just how many vampires were out, which can be game ending since this deck has a high devotion total once it gets rolling.
