Hanging out at my LGS on an off day for Magic, someone came in with a handful of Oathbreaker decks and they wanted to test one of their newer builds against an opponent. I obliged and it got me thinking after playing it, that I could greatly improve upon the idea they had started with.

Commander and Signature Spell

I decided on Venser, the Sojourner and Preordain. Venser's bomb, which is an Emblem stating "Whenever you cast a spell, exile target permanent." Though it doesn't do much on its own, there are ways that can take advantage of the emblem. That will be discussed in the next section.

The Do Nothing Combo

Archaeomancer + Ghostly Flicker + Gilded Lotus

That is the name I've given it. Consisting of Archaeomancer, Ghostly Flicker and Gilded Lotus creating an infinite loop. Casting Ghostly Flicker targeting Archaeomancer and Gilded Lotus. When Archaeomancer and Gilded Lotus return to the battlefield Gilded Lotus comes back in untapped (If it was tapped when targeted.) Archaeomancer ETB triggers we target Ghostly Flicker and repeat the process with Venser's Emblem to clear our opponents entire board state.
