it made me dig out my old amulet deck which was spawned from Carrie Oliver's version (http://www.gatheringmagic.com/carlos-gutierrez-legacy-modern-standard-commander-decks-02232013-five-decks-you-cant-miss-this-week) and revamp it.

I went 2-1 and ended up getting second. I was trying out Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite in one of the Ancient Stirrings slots. Never got a chance to drop her. Overall i like having the dig ability more than her in the main board.

2-0 vs mono red burn

I played a new player that borrowed a deck to play. He made a bunch of mistakes and i let him get away with a couple. Our games could've been closer if he knew what he was doing.

0-2 vs. Jeskai ascendancy

It was the first time playing my deck so my sideboard had a few cards to tweak performance. Sadly, one of the cards i took out was Slaughter Games. Once it starts to go off there is nothing you can do or at least that was the case for me.

2-1 vs tarmo-twin

Game 1 - was goyf beat down. I had a couple of lands and no amulet.

Game 2 - i had a "god hand" Amulet of Vigor, Summer Bloom, & a Primeval Titan. Turn 1 amulet. Turn 2 bounce land into a Summer Bloom into Primeval Titan fetching stronghold & garrison & swing for 8. Turn 3 fetching a bounce land & Sunhome swinging for 12.

Game 3 - This game was a grind. Turn 4 Hive Mind with my opponent have 1 source + / fetch. Dropped a Summoner's Pact (fetched titan & goyf) we both paid for it. Turn 5 i top deck another Summoner's Pact (fetched courser & goyf) and played the courser. Flipped the top card of my library and it was a Glittering Wish. Turn 6 he over extended and played both goyfs since he finally had the mana to do so. I draw the wish and fetch/cast Supreme Verdict. He bolts me & i copy and bolt him back. Turn 7 he drops a goyf & passes turn. I drop titan giving him , i misplayed my land while trying to cast/haste a wurmcoil. I swung with 8/6 double strike titan putting him at 2 & killing the goyf. Going to turn 8 my life was at 3 & he was at 2. He top decks a land.

My misplay was not bouncing a bounce land back & boosting the titan twice with the stronghold before giving him double strike. If i would've done so it would've been lethal. Overall i find this deck very enjoyable right up there with my draw control deck.
