G/W deck I've been tinkering around with since drafting a few Fleecemane Lions. I know I should run voice with this, but it just doesn't warrant the pricetag to me. Any other suggestions are certainly welcome, though!
The cards-
Soldier of the Pantheon - T1 2/1 with relevant protection. Simply too good not to run.
Hopeful Eidolon - Either a first turn body to get some life, or more preferably, adds lifelink to one of my bigger bodies later in the game. Maybe not the best card, but it has won me plenty of games bestowed on a smiter.
Precinct Captain: Token making, first striking badass. Only a three of because of the WW casting cost.
Scavenging Ooze: Wasn't included in the original build, but I've found great utility in this little guy. A bear at worst, a life-gaining face smasher at best.
Fleecemane Lion: A T2 3/3 is very relevant, even moreso if he can be made Monstrous. Also, this guy was the inspiration to build this deck, so I kind of just like him.
Loxodon Smiter: This elephant is my best friend against control decks, and he's even pretty dang good against aggro. He's almost a swiss army knife in one card.
Advent of the Wurm: 5/5 trample and flash for 4? Yes please.
Polukranos, World Eater: I'm not sure I'm sold on this guy yet. Right now, I'm just feeling him out. He follows the theme of having higher P/T than CMC, so he's winning there.
God's Willing: With all these mono-colored decks running around, this really lets me either save a blocking creature, or make a creature unblockable.
Selesnya Charm: Really, this thing is my god killer. Occasionally, I'll use one of the other features if I really need to, but this thing EXILES big critters, which is very relevant to Gods, Desecration Demon, etc...
