Looking to curve from Young Pyromancer into Purphoros, using ETB damage and Guttersnipes to burn out the enemy. 1/1 Elementals provide blocking and the potential to overwhelm the enemy. Ideally, burn spells will hit my opponent's face, but realistically I'll have to use them to try and keep a semi-clear board. I can restock my hand with Steam Augury and Epic Experiment.

I've thought about replacing the blue for some white splash, to give me access to Assemble the Legion (serious ETB action with Purphoros on the field) and Boros Charm to keep my creature-dependent combos safe from Supreme Verdict.

I am admittedly worried about some of the powerful decks that have been coming out lately, especially Whip/Obzedat, but this deck isn't at all supposed to be Pro, just a fun thing for FNM, at an LGS that is usually a little more casual.
