Prologue

It is a damp hot summer day. You have found shelter from the heat in a chilled LGS or room at home. A few dimmed rays of sunlight cut through the shutters and darkened room, leaving a visible slash through the dusty air. In the background an old radio plays songs from the 90s and you have a cold beverage sitting next to you, while you are playing your homebrew deck. You don't know it yet, but those moments will be nostalgic to you someday. And this nostalgia I try to capture with this deck, optimised with the improved knowledge and cards available to me.

Oldschool

To capture the nostalgia a little more I only used oldbordered cards like Apprentice Necromancer or alternate art cards like Zombify, that have a fitting look to them.

Voltroninator

The composite explaines the decks goals: Deliver some smack with Volrath the Fallen and his activated ability and utilize that same discard outlet to fuel further following reanimation of the discarded high cmc fatties.

• Dauthi Voidwalker just an insane card right here: controls opposing gy's and can pull a massive spell out of thin air
• Diabolic Intent it's a tutor y'know
• Diabolic Tutor get what you need
• Hypnotic Specter early threat, that might tank a removal for the team
• Insidious Dreams great mix of discard outlet and tutor in this deck
• Withered Wretch some sort of graveyard interaction is highly adviseable
