Formerly known as ALL THE COUNTERS, this deck focuses on, you guessed it, COUNTERS! So the main strategy of the deck is to get Vorosh, the Hunter out, make sure he hits, and doubles his attack power(ish).

But wait, there's more!

Having Corpsejack Menace will DOUBLE the amount of +1/+1 counters he gets! And since Corpsejack Menace isn't legendary, you can have all four on the field at once! So Vorosh, the Hunter goes from a 6/6 flier into a 54/54 beast!

How to Play

Your main plan of attack is to get as many lands out as possible via Ordeal of Nylea and placing down tap lands each turn. Once you get 4 land out, play either Desecration Demon OR Corpsejack Menace. Turn 5, playbuff spells (i.e. Ordeal of Nylea or Hardened Scales) or another Desecration Demon or Corpsejack Menace. Turn 6, play Vorosh, the Hunter and deal some damage w/ your demons or get some scavenge fodder from Varolz, the Scar-Striped (if you got him out turn 3 and he lived). Turn 7, Bioshift him some counters, swing in for 6+ damage, pay 2G to double(ish) his power, rinse, and repeat.

However, sometimes, you just don't draw Vorosh. There are other way to win. For example, Bioshift is a PERFECT card, in that it takes away counters and then GIVES them to someone else, activating not only Hardened Scales, but Corpsejack Menace as well! So, say you have a Desecration Demon on the field. He gets counters basically every turn, right? Well, Hardened Scales gives him one more, then Corpsejack Menace doubles that, so he gets 4 +1/+1 counters per turn (or more, for eachCorpsejack Menace). So after three turns on the field, he has 8 +1/+1 counters and you'll probably have a measly 0/4 Elusive Krasis on the field that our opponent hopefully isn't too worried about. Pay one mana to activate Bioshift and take those 8 +1/+1 counters from Desecratoin Demon and put them on to Elusive Krasis . Hardened Scales will increase it to 9, then your Corpsejack Menaces will increase that to either 18, 36, 72, or a whopping 144 +1/+1 counters! And since Bioshift is an instant, you can do this after you declare attackers, so they won't know what hit them until it's too late.

Supporting cards include:

~Desecration Demon For battle shenanigans and getting many +1/+1 counters.

~Varolz, the Scar-Striped For getting more +1/+1 counters from dead creatures.

~ Slitherhead For some free counters later in the game. It also fill up the curve (kind of).

~ Elusive Krasis An unblockable little worm that is Lightning Bolt proof and can get stronger over time.

~Bioshift Moves +1/+1 counters around and doubles them w/ Corpsejack Menace.

~EVERYTHING ELSE (besides land) Getting counters where they need to be; On my side of the field. INSERT MANIACAL LAUGH HERE

SIDEBOARD

~Vraska the Unseen and Rogue's Passage What is a gorgon like Vraksa doing here, she's being literally unseen and coming out of a +1/+1 counters deck as an alternate win con! Rogue's Passage is for your assassins to stab in the right places.

~Mistcutter Hydra For those control players out there. (You know who you are...)

~Jace, Architect of Thought Since, Vraska is already in here, I thought it fitting that Jace would be in here, too. His -2 isn't too bad, +1 for anti-aggro (kind of), and if it gets to this, the -8 is insane.

~Memoricide Because I have an irrational fear of Eldrazi, among other things.

~Grafdigger's Cage Look, if I kill something, it needs to stay dead, okay?

~Dragon's Claw Because burn is WAY to fast for this deck.
