This is a mill deck so the main idea is obviously to make them discard their entire deck. The problem most mill decks run into though is having very little defense if your opponent does manage to play anything. So I thought why not, maybe splice in a little burn just for the fun of it!

1. Like most mill decks you really want to get out Jace's Phantasm pretty early because buffing it should be no problem at all (Vexing Devil is also a good first turn play)

2. Izzet Guildmage is definitely an allstar here, duplicating Book Burning /Tome Scour or even Searing Blaze can be a heavy hitting combo ( Curious Homunculus   can be helpful to play this combo a little quicker)
