I started playing Magic regularly with some friends a couple of months ago, and this is the second deck I'm attempting to build. I own enough of the cards already that I was able to test the concept, and it works, but it's still a little disjointed.
I haven't been able to playtest this particular list yet, seeing as we meet weekly, but I want some opinions from more experienced players before our next play meeting so I can try out a few different setups.
The idea is to use little bits of lifegain to stall until I can get Wall of Limbs' power equal to my opponent's life, then pop it for the win. Failing that I can do the same thing with any creature and Essence Harvest. Sunbond makes stacking the counters go a lot faster. Dying Wish is around for more or less the same reason. Makes Wall of Limbs work twice as fast.
Unless I need a Sunbond or Final Wish right away, I've taken to using Heliod's pilgrim to fetch an Ephara's radiance and attach it right there. Three extra life a turn is pretty helpful, and with Vizkopa Guildmage and some extra mana lying around I can use it to do some bonus damage on the side.
I'm mostly worried about how to deal with threats that can bypass my creatures. Instants shouldn't be too awful since I can recover from a couple of lightning bolts in short order, but creatures I can't block normally, or huge swarms of enemy attackers would both be problematic.
