Maelstrom wandere is probably one of my favorite commanders after playing a few matches with him!

I don't play blue a bunch so I have always struggled with ratios of card draw, counter magic and tempo cards, I probably will avoid lots of control magic because much like when playing Mayael I know how bad it feels when you whiff.

I am going to be avoiding extra turns/Palinchron infinite nonsense/MLD since my LGS doesn't frown on it, it just makes life easier if you aren't playing that kind of deck, I have more competitive decks I am working on with these themes in mind but this one will be strong, but not broken (err...as un-broken as I can make it)

I threw some of my favorite planeswalkers, alongside some more value based ones in and they put in WORK, I truly enjoyed this aspect.

I also want to find a place for Mind's Desire because the thought of cascading onto this after casting Maelstrom Wanderer to copy it netting two cards before the second Cascade!
