This $65 (ish) budget edh Mangara, the Diplomat deck is what a certain budget edh youtube channel, who I may or may not have heard of, call a "political control" build. In this deck we control the board and influence our opponents' actions while slowly hoarding massive sums of life; and yes, sadly, you have to speak to other players to get stuff done in this deck. Making deals, offers, and sometimes even threats are what keep this deck winning.

I'm open to suggestions, but only as long as they are also budget (about $2 maximum per card)

Cool things:

-All that life we hoard throughout the game can be converted into a win with either Storm Herd , Felidar Sovereign , or Ajani, Caller of the Pride ; however, Approach of the Second Sun is, of course, another alternative win con (if people swing at us after we cast it for the first time, we just get it faster with Mangara out (lul)).

-The monarch mechanic plays a part in this deck, as no matter what we draw cards! That is, if we are the monarch, we draw cards at the end of our turn, but if someone swings at us then we draw cards anyways because Mangara (double lul).

-While this deck isn't quite "superfriends" (there wasn't a "politics" tag so here we are), cards like Ghirapur Orrery and Pendant of Prosperity are a win-win since we can ramp and cast things for less, but our opponents can cast "their second spell" much easier (cough cough Mangara, the Diplomat cough cough).

- Soldevi Sentry is a political powerhouse in this deck. With him in play and our negotiating skills at hand, our opponents will do whatever we say, as we are going to give them cards in return (who can resist?).

- Mimic Vat is neat :-)
