Heroic, plain and simple.
DECK TECH
CREATURES:
Anax and Cymede - One of the big heroics in this deck. They pump my creatures whenever they trigger, giving my on-board guys +1/+1 and trample, and that can add up if there's counters on my other creatures.
Akroan Hoplite - This guy synergizes pretty well with Launch the Fleet as well as the rest of the deck. He can be buffed by Phalanx Leader, which can allow him to go wild when he swings.
Akroan Skyguard - Traditional 1/1 white flier with heroic. Every time he triggers, he gets a permanent +1/+1 counter, which can add up big-time as the turns go on, particularly if my opponent has no answers to him.
Fabled Hero - Think Akroan Skyguard but on the ground and armed with double strike. As he gets +1/+1 when his heroic goes off, he can pack on massive damage if left alone.
Iroas, God of Victory - An epic god that can tilt the game to me. He makes all me creatures blockable only by two or more creatures and any attacking creatures I control don't take damage. All in all, he's batty.
Phalanx Leader - This guy buffs all my creatures on the field whenever I hit him with a heroic trigger. +1/+1 to a bunch of Soldier tokens made with Launch the Fleet is a big plus. Yes, please!
INSTANTS/SORCERIES:
Titan's Strength - Gives a creature I control +3/+1 until end of turn, plus it lets me scry. This card gets pretty good with Akroan Skyguard and Fabled Hero.
Gods Willing - Perfect anti-killspell card. This card can protect one of my creatures from a color, which can allow me to dodge Murder, Lightning Bolt, and other various spells.
Launch the Fleet - One very big heroic trigger of a spell. As its strive cost isn't too terribly high (and it's already a 1-drop to boot), I can easily trigger a bunch of creatures on my end of the field and pump out even more buddies to make Akroan Hoplite scarier.
Dauntless Onslaught - Not only does it allow me to give two of my creatures +2/+2, it also triggers heroic on most of my creatures, save Iroas. Again, this card works well when used on Akroan Skyguard and Fabled Hero.
Boros Charm - A large multi-purpose trigger. I can use it to finish a game, protect one of my creatures, or give them double strike in order to let them feel what being Fabled Hero is like. A great utility card, all in all.
