An Avacyn, Angel of Hope EDH deck with pillow fort and control elements. Obviously, indestructibility is the central theme of the deck, and Avacyn is arguably the single best card for maintaining board presence in EDH.

Deck Mechanics

• Most of this deck is self-explanatory. Avacyn, Angel of Hope makes all your permanents indestructible. Protecting her with hexproof and shroud with equipments like Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, and Whispersilk Cloak helps keep her from being exiled or tucked before you can get some stronger means of protection into play.

• Land Tax + Scroll Rack can net you up to three additional draws on turns when you control fewer lands than your opponent, which is fairly consistent in this deck. During your upkeep, draw your lands with Land Tax , then put them on top of your deck with Scroll Rack. Next turn, those lands will be shuffled into your deck after you search for lands with Land Tax during your upkeep, so you can repeat the process. Reliance on mana rocks and Extraplanar Lens help increase the possibility that you'll have fewer lands than an opponent. Sensei's Divining Top and Crystal Ball offer additional top-deck manipulation.

• Your team of bodyguards can hold down the fort while your angels attack. Weathered Bodyguards , Veteran Bodyguard , and Palisade Giant are indestructible while Avacyn is in play, so they don't die from taking a bullet for you.

• Ramp cards like Land Tax , Kor Cartographer, Weathered Wayfarer, Solemn Simulacrum, Knight of the White Orchid, Burnished Hart, Endless Horizons, and the various mana rocks help speed up the deck, as mono-white can be one of the slower deck archetypes.

• Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse help to thin out the deck, pulling two lands out instead of just one. Since this deck is more about late-game board presence, you can afford lands coming in tapped. Endless Horizons is one of the best deck-thinning cards in EDH, letting you pull as many Plains as you want. It is vulnerable to exile or destruction, and those lands don't come back if you lose it, so use it wisely.
