Creature (1)

This is my attempt at a dinosaur ramp deck. It's worked fairly well at my local standard matches, however i would appreciate any feedback.

Here's my thoughts on each card I put on the list:

Commune with Dinosaurs - I like this card a lot, I prefer it to something like Kinjalli's Caller as I find it more useful when i draw it later in the game as well as in my opening hand.

Blossoming Defense - Very useful against all the removal knocking around, players love removing you rampers and dinosaurs equally so it's nice to have this in the wings. Also adding a little extra trample damage never hurts.

Drover of the Mighty - I don't think this card needs much explanation. Taps for mana and gets boosted by Dinos perfect for what we want.

Otepec Huntmaster - I like to run 4 of this guy just so i'm more likely to see him in my opening hand. Making your dinos cost less is great, tapping for haste is nice as well since rarely will we want to attack with him.

Abrade - You're gonna need some removal and personally I prefer it to Lightning Strike for the potential to kill those pesky artifact creatures and vehicles.

Ranging Raptors - tough call between this and Deathgorge Scavenger personally i like how this guy will dissuade enemies from attacking and if they do well more land for us means bigger dinos.

Savage Stomp - Seeing as most all the creatures you'd use this on are Dinos this makes for some cheap removal with a free counter for your trouble. Not to mention triggering enrage is a possibility.

Kinjalli's Sunwing - Not being the fastest deck around this card is very nice to slow down opponents, plus I won't pass up the opportunity to get some free damage on opponents without flying.

Ripjaw Raptor - a 4 drop with 4/5 and lets you draw when hit, not much explanation needed

Cast Out - I'd like to fit another of these in here but having trouble fitting in. a great remove card that you can cycle.

Regisaur Alpha - This will lead the charge giving your other Dinos haste plus a free token with trample. Being able to bring your future Dinos into combat a turn earlier really pressures your opponent.

Huatli, Warrior Poet - I'm still a bit on the fence about but all her abilities are useful for this deck. Healing can really save you in a pinch. Summoning a token is almost always good especially if you have out an alpha. Her ult is very versatile whether stopping blockers, removing threats or triggering enrage on your own guys.

Carnage Tyrant - "the correct maneuver is to deploy the giant, implacable death lizard" just about sums it up. If you ramp into this theres very little opponent can respond with especially when it has haste.

Sideboard:

Forsake the Worldly - If you need some extra enchantment/artifact removal with the option to cycle tag this in.

Sweltering Suns - I like this against fast decks or token/ creature swarms. Also can cycle.

Prowling Serpopard - great against pesky control decks that don't like you playing cards.

Magma Spray - Great for those cards with GY effects like scarab god

Heroic Intervention - Great for board whipes or just general protection

Deathgorge Scavenger - sometimes ranging raptor just isnt working out and you need to eat some GY cards
