OGW Notes: Kalitas Traitor of Ghet turns a board wipe into a flat-out wincon in the right circumstances. And he's a warrior! Stoneforge Masterwork looks cool.

Pretty much all credit goes to Granular_Quality and his deck Fury road ( mad max ). This is just a version that pulls out dome of the more expensive cards on account of me being a poor sack of crap.

Moving on...

A Mad Max: Fury Road themed deck. Hit hard, fast, and constantly, scream a lot, and recycle all the weapons and vehicles that will inevitably be broken. Turn the battlefield into a sea of wreckage and groaning bodies, AND ALL WILL BE SHINY AND CHROME!!

Casting is pretty much just as Granular_Quality pitched it; Zurgo Helmsmasher as Immortan Joe, Bloodsoaked Champion as Max, and Alesha, Who Smiles at Death as Furiosa. I love the idea of having Zurgo sit down on the Dragon Throne of Tarkir and then mounting that sucker onto a Warmonger's Chariot; you got yourself a War-Rig, son!

Certain cards do not have a direct movie equivalent (Maraxus of Keld I'm looking at you...). If they're in there, it means that I want to see them driving a post-apoc car and screaming really loud.

Liquimetal Coating is just flavor. Whenever one of your Warboys (or goblins or whatever) dies, tap that sucker and shout "WITNESS ME!" at the top of your lungs. Then flip the table.

Max carries an Explorer's Scope in the film. It's legit. Shut up. I couldn't find an MtG equivalent to those awesome pole-thingies, but Grappling Hook is pretty close. I have no explanation for Hot Soup. I just think Warboys look like they'd like some soup.

Haven't tested it, but I really want to.
