ENCHANTING!
Terrible joke, right? Well now that you're here might as well take a look at standard tribal enchantments. That's right, tribal enchantment.
What is this deck's modis operadi? Stacking, bestowing, and protecting.
Turn one: Drop a Hopeful Eidolon or a Nyxborn Shieldmate and pass.
Turn two: Equip your creature with either Ethereal Armor or Aqueous Form (or both) or you can drop the glorious 3/1 beatstick, Spirit of the Labyrinth. Just as an example, a Hopeful Eidolon with ethreal armor and Aqueous Form swings for 4 damage with life link and that glorious scry ability.
Turn three: Most likely the same as turn two but leaving mana open for Brave the Elements or Gods Willing. This would also be the time to pacify any threats out of the way.
Turn four: Start playing by ear from here. You can easily bestow a Nyxborn Shieldmate while leaving up protection or you can tap out for bestowing an Eidolon of Countless Battles, which starts to add up very quick with ethreal armor.
Late game: Sometimes even a Voltron falls apart, that's why we have bestowed creatures which are there to take their place! Knocking a couple pieces of the puzzle out of this deck doesn't hurt so bad. Especially when you can drop a Sphere of Safety and watch the disappointment of your opponent as you take your time rebuilding your next attack.
The great thing I love about this deck is that the longer it goes on the more potent many cards become. A Sphere of Safety can suddenly put an opponent in a terrible position. Drawing into a Hopeful Eidolon can many times be the best thing to pull! Same goes for an ethreal armor that seemingly out of no where pumps a weenie into a 7 toughness creature with ease.
The idea of this deck started out as joke with some local FNM players and I have been toying with the idea for about a week now. It's not the spikiest deck on the market right now but it has been an absolute BLAST to play.
