Krakens lurk behind the wall. That's about it. The sideboard is mostly just for fun, but mildly functional. The idea is to use walls, thassa, and Nykthos to get up to kraken mana, and then frighten them with krakens. All of the return to hand works well with counterspells and curse of the swine. Mnemonic wall is here because having enough mana to Whelming wave every turn is really fun, and I couldn't be bothered to find an Archaeomancer. Also look at that sexy mana curve!
