As with the coming generation, the theme of Vampires has been misinterpreted as some brazenly ball of dispersed light, I thought it would be right to restore them to their true glory of nightmares and beings to fear.
Thematic decks are my favourite and this is my attempt at making a vampire deck. Not competitive or anything, but fun as to play with.
Main tactic is to build up army of these bad boys that help each other and drain the blood of thy enemies.
Despise and Surgical Extraction are there to remove any potential extra threat that may hold in store. Friends have said Thoughtseize instead of Despise. Too much molah. Depise does the job I think, as it's usually non creature spells that deal the most trouble and then the surgical is the 'surprise mother ----' when they think you're tapped out.
Vampire Nocturus I love you. Aside from lands, all cards are black. How can you go wrong here.
Bloodghast Inglorious Undying bastards. They keep coming back, and with the extra help from other Vampires, These guys seem like a staple in any vampire deck.
Falkenrath Aristocrat HAHAHAHA Come right in and dine. They want to destroy you? Sac a Bloodghast. Please.
Stromkirk Captain and Captivating Vampire share similar roles so I have 2 of each.Buffing other vampires. Used to run 4, didn't see it being too viable.
Vampire Nighthawk is just a great 3CMC deathtouch, lifelink, flying ninja. Opponents dread this guy.
Tragic Slip Most hilarious card around. 1 black mana -1/-1 'hmm alright'. Morbid : -13/-13. HAHAHAHA WHAT?

Reminding the opponent that these 'sparkle bombs' are actually dark shadows of menace and total slaughter. Much Vamprism love.
