After getting demolished by my friends Eldrazi deck, I've grown to see that not only discards can assist in taking down such a powerful deck like that one. (I'll post his deck once he sends me the list.) This deck I've created will help stop him cast any spells, activate abilities, and be able to gain quick amounts of life for yourself, along with destroying artifacts and enchantments. You may use this deck not only as an Eldrazi counter, but any other decks that include the usage of "When this creature enters the battlefield _"
Now, for the actual deck.
The main thing you wanna try and do here is just stop your opponent from doing basically anything, cast spells, use abilities of opponents creatures, & stop any triggers from their creatures as well.
Trying to have
Grand Abolisher
,
Linvala, Keeper of Silence
, and
Hushbringer
out at the same time is the goal here. Use cards like
Death Ward
to regenerate any of them if they happen to get killed, also protects them from losing any enchantments they may have on them as well.
Resurrection
can also be of help to you incase they do get sent to the graveyard.
Giving enchantments like
Lifelink
and
Holy Strength
to your creatures would help so you may do chip damage and even get some life back.
Ajani's Mantra
is good for an extra bit of life,
Revitalize
can help you get a nice bit as well with an addition to draw a card, and of course if you put
Lifelink
on a creature of yours as well
Grand Abolisher
's ability is extremely important here as your opponent cannot do anything but block if it's you're turn. Take advantage of using
Silence
too and your opponent is basically stuck and can fall back while you're setting up everything else.
Disenchant
can be of use to you as well if you do not have
Silence
in your hand or any of the creatures above out.
The sideboard are cards that could potentially be swapped in,
Kor Chant
could absolutely help with damage control so you don't lose too much health or creatures, and all the damage that your opponent is attacking you with can just be sent to a creature of your choice, helps if they do an all out attack while they got any big or troublesome creatures.
