Constructing a deck centered around the cards Chalice of Life
, Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, Suture Priest, and Ajani's Pridemate.

Strategy
This build slightly differs from a standard Soul Sisters build, mainly because I cannot afford some of the key cards that make it work. Those cards being Ranger of Eos and Serra Ascendant. Also, I am having a hard time finding
Martyr of Sands
so she is also missing from this build.
The win conditions we have are centered around consistent life gain using the soul sister card effect in order to build up our beater Ajani's Pridemate with the end goal to flip our Chalice of Life
. The cool thing is that once it flips it doesn't flip back if you go below 30 life. This is where a
Martyr of Sands
would help burst us to the 30 mark when we have a chalice in play.
The other cards we have in play are support cards for the soul sisters triggers. Squadron Hawk helps ensure that you have creatures to play during turns. It also has flying and can be used to either chump block evasive baddies or tag in for damage.
Arashin Cleric
is a place holder until I can nab a few copies of
Martyr of Sands
, but for now she can help us get our life going in the right direction. Whitemane Lion helps us use our mana to play more creatures, which means more life in a pinch. Also the return feature helps protect key elements if they are getting into deep trouble. Raise the Alarm is cheap token creation, which means life gains and chump blockers when needed. Also it's an instant which means we can play it to save our Ajani's Pridemate by giving him a +2/+2 boost.
As far as removal goes on the mainboard, all we have in is Celestial Flare. I'd like to have Path to Exile instead, but that's not possible right now. At least Celestial Flare can bypass indestructible and protection effects, so it has that going for it.
Land choices are kinda iffy for me right now. I like the effect that Windbrisk Heights has, but I'm still figuring out how to work it into my strategy. The good thing about it is that it taps for white mana and not colorless. Ghost Quarter is there to slow down tron or maybe remove mana away from infect/aggro decks when they need it. If you don't want to use those, I find having three Radiant Fountains is also beneficial to the overall strategy.
Sideboard currently is under construction. What's in there now is mostly to combat issues that the deck can't handle very well. If you have suggestions I'd like to hear them.
FNM Report: Modern
April 11, 2015: Took the deck out to its first FNM event, and overall I was pleased with its performance. The first matchup I had was against a Goblin/Burn deck. In the first round my opponent arrived a little late, and had to restructure her deck. She opted to concede the first game of three to me while she did so. After helping her sleeve up, we played our game 2. I was able to start strong with a turn 1: Soul Warden, turn:2 Ajani's Pridemate. From there I gained life and managed to flip a chalice and proceeded to grind her down. After that time was called so I won the match 2-0. Round 2 started and I faced off against a G/R deck centered around Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle. The first game I failed to draw enough land to get any life gain rolling, he proceeded to play creatures that brought land in consistently. I had no response and was killed off by turn 5. Game two, I was able to sucessfully play gain control of a Soul Warden, Suture Priest, and Ajani's Pridemate. Because I had a strong board state, and my opponent began to stall out, I took the game. They called time, but I opted to concede the match to my opponent so that he could progress in the tournament. My rationale was that his deck was better suited to play the others that were in the higher rankings. My last round of the night was against another red Goblin/Burn deck. This one operated heavily on tokens, so he was consistently giving me life. The first game I won fairly quickly because I was able to mobilze two Ajani's Pridemates and flip the cup. Second game I had to mulligan due to lack of lands, and had to fight to keep up with his token generation. Fortunately I was able to come back from 6 life to win the game, by mobilizing the pridemates again along with excelent chump blocks from Squadron Hawks. Thus I ended my night with a record of 2-2, which I can say I'm happy with for my first FNM.
