wooooooooo tokens, seems to be all i play now adays.
this deck is like getting that standard deck that used to be broken and made it into a modern deck, no, that is exactly what it is . its a combination of G/W tokens in old standard and B/W token in modern.
you got:
-Lingering Souls for some flyers and it is just a great card overall in the deck almost cant build B/W without it.
-Birds of Paradise this card is for some nice mana fixing and for that juicy turn 2 Nissa, Voice of Zendikar.
-Gideon, Ally of Zendikar just one of the best plains walkers and no doubt the best gideon, its everything you want in the deck.
-Intangible Virtue just a great card in the deck for obvious reasons, main one being you can attack while still holding up blockers.
-Sorin, Solemn Visitor a really nice card in the deck, when you have all the fetch lands and such you need some life gain, and this guy does that and more still makes tokens and gives a good buff. Best when one of the other two plainswalkers are on the battle field.
-Oath of Nissa not sure if this is the best card to put here it just was the best one i knew of, it gets you plains walkers or a birds for ramp.
-Path to Exile removal, wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
-Voice of Resurgence gives you a bit of a bonus when fighting control and such, and when you are a token deck it just kinda makes sense.
-Gavony Township gives something for you to just pump mana into, just a good card for the value you can get out of it.
-Nissa, Voice of Zendikar it 3 mana for everything you want, tokens and a buff effect, its great. cant end the game on her own she need other plainswalkers.
-Secure the Wastes its a late game threat, if you get land flooded you at least have a something that might be able to bring you back.
-Bitterblossom this is in place of 2 fatal pushes, when I have so many creatures and good blockers I feel that 6 removal spells it too many so I added a bit more of what the deck does best, tokens.
- A section for those who care about match ups.
This deck has great mana curve and great cards in it, but combo decks just smash you no mater what you do, they just go too fast for you and along with your no interaction it gets hard. While midrange deck cant handle your constant flow of tokens with single target removal and liliana. Control is a fine match when you have Voice of Resurgence and if you get a plainswalker or swampwalker (don't want to be walker racist) on the field it is so hard to remove for them but you can still lose. Burn is a little tough, if you get Sorin, Solemn Visitor and even a few tokens down you are good to go but other wise it can be hard; still trying to change the side board to help that. As long as bogles don't get Rancorthey lose. You just win against titan shift you have too many creatures for them they just get overwhelmed. also sorin is the best card in the deck you gain so much life it is too much for them.
Also, can we talk about how like 2 seconds ago this deck said 100% competitive now it says 7% or something, like, What? where did I go wrong.
