This is a U/W control deck that is designed to abuse the power of cards like Stasis and Winter Orb in conjunction with Black Vise and/or Iron Maiden. It is based off of another deck, created by user nvc73. I give them credit for the idea.

The main premise is obviously to control the opponent until you force them to a halt, while Howling Mine forces them to draw an absurd number of cards and Black Vise kills them for doing so. The premise overall has not changed from nvc73's original design. However:

-I have replaced the Unsummons with Cyclonic Rifts due to the ability to target all kinds of permanents, not just creatures, and the board wipe ability rift has.

-I reduced the amount of Howling Mines by one to include a copy of Elixir of Immortality to prevent you from drawing yourself to death if your opponent just so happens to get off a few Mind Sculpts or the like.

-I reduced the land count by one to allow for Stasis, which is pretty self-explanatory if you think about how the deck works.

-I added Reliquary Towers to allow you to keep all of those lovely cards you're drawing.

-I replaced Boomerang with Counterspell, as it can stop things from triggering potentially dangerous entrance effects, and stops a much wider range of situations from ever occurring. Although, admittedly, as you can see on the maybeboard, I am considering replacing the Counterspells with Force of Wills. The cost for this however, is prohibitive.

-I replaced some of the basic lands with Ancient Den s and Seat of the Synods, making them searchable by Enlightened Tutor in a truly dire situation.

-I am considering adding Isochron scepters as the possibility of a colorless Counterspell, Arcane Denial, Cyclonic Rift, or Enlightened Tutor every turn is a powerful prospect.

-I have placed two Supreme Verdicts on the maybeboard as an uncounterable board wipe is a powerful thing in control.

-I also added two planeswalkers, consistent threats that require no mana to use aside from their initial cost. Tezzeret the Seeker is the obvious choice of the two, as he searches artifacts and provides an alternate win condition with his ult. Dovin Baan however, has a powerful emblem that works well with the concept of the deck, and a very useful -1 ability. Even so, I am skeptical that there is any room for either of them in the deck overall.

I'd love to hear from you guys! Comment your thoughts or criticisms on the deck below! Thanks! (Credit to nvc73 for the original idea.)
