Sideboard

They haven't rotated yet! Dragons have risen from the grave to dominate the skies of Standard once again! Thus far my most successful competitive brew, this Dragons list packs a powerful and swift punch.

With hasty early-game drops and evasive late-game bombs, this deck follows a nasty and punishing curve. Every creature included in this list has an intentional 2-for-1 value.

Obviously Thunderbreak Regent is the crown jewel of the deck, and Dragon Tempest just make him and ever other dragon worth immediate value. Village Messenger   is a safe 1 damage T1, and can deal a potentially massive amount over the course of the next few turns- likely that he transforms on T2 upkeep. Scab-Clan Berserker drops and swings with haste, and, if she lands, is worth her cost at just that. Deal 2, Renown, eat a removal spell and Shock the opponent, all for 3 CMC. Beautiful. Thopter Engineer gives a flying 1/1 with haste that can deal some serious damage in the next few turns, as well as being a great blocker and synergies with Pia and Kiran Nalaar, another one of the best 2-for-1's in the deck. Goblin Dark-Dwellers is one of my favorite cards in Standard. Aside from being a 4/4 Menace body, he effectively flashbacks every Instant and Sorcery in the entire list. Value! Finally, Dragonlord Kolaghan is the ultimate finisher. Drop with haste and swing for the win, give anything else you may drop (that doesn't already have haste) and give it haste! Or prevent them from playing multiples of a creature or planeswalker with the threat of 10 life.

With brutal and ruthless efficiency, these Dragons bow to no other.
