I really wanted something that is different from the top 8 that could stand up against Abzan. So it started off as a Jeskai Hero's Blade deck. I wasn't really enjoying the legendary creatures in it so I began to rethink it. That's when I thought of Yasova Dragonclaw and Surrak, the Hunt Caller . Being able to play either one on turn 3 as a 7/4 or an 8/6 sounded like fun. Not to mention Surrak will trigger his own Formidable giving himself haste. I can't talk about Green Legends without mentioning Pookie. THough he pretty much speaks for himself. Xenagos, God of Revels is a great finisher, even if you don't have the devotion for him. A 14/11 Yasova with trample on turn 4 can really cause a lot of pain to your opponents. Temur Battle Rage gives most of your creatures trample as well as the double strike, which helps remove your opponents annoying blockers. It especially pairs well with Boon Satyr by tricking them into blocking with a lion or courser then killing them and trampling over. See the Unwritten almost always pulls 2 creatures, usually fatties. Last but certainly not least Shamanic Revelation. Usually draw 4-5 and gain at least 12 life. They don't see it coming and if you pull it off after a See the Unwritten, you usually pull 20 life.

Sideboard time!Surrak Dragonclaw I may bring this up to 3 even though he costs 5 and is a legend because against those blue decks, he shuts them down. Destructive Revelry is also needed, at least in my mind. At my local FNM I usually see Banishing Light or Chained to the Rocks a couple times a night. Anger of the Gods and Barrage of Boulders are for my matchups against RDW. I'm honestly leaning towards a 4th Boulder and cutting an Anger or two.
