7-22-2018 For a local Tribal Commander Event, majority creatures of the must have been from the same tribe, no one else was doing Rebels. This is not a high-level competitive deck, but rather more of a fun with friends deck. There is a lot of tutoring with this deck so I highly suggest you get very tough sleeves that can handle a lot of shuffling.

How the deck works.

Rebels are not the strongest, strength wise, tribe in Magic, so they need a little help getting that damage in. This deck runs a bunch anthem and pump effects. Shared Triumph, Hall of Triumph, Honor of the Pure, Adaptive Automaton, Radiant Destainy, Always Watching , Glorious Anthem, Marshal's Anthem, Caged Sun, and Crovax, Ascendant Hero give static +1/+1 to all the creatures, while Metallic Mimic and Cathars' Crusade give the creatures +1/+1 counters. True Conviction and Brave the Sands give the creatures Double Strike, Lifelink, and Vigilance.

Against Decks with a large volume of high damage creatures this deck provides a combination that allows you to gain an infinite amount of life with Animal Boneyard + Outrider en-Kor + Task Force giving Task Force infinite amounts of toughness, and then sacrificing it to Animal Boneyard.

If you are looking to upgrade this under $200 deck a few non-budget additions I would suggest looking at: Teferi's Protection and Idyllic Tutor to help protect your rebel alliance and help find your anthem effects. Scroll Rack is also a very helpful addition to the deck, because the worst thing to happen with this deck it to draw a rebel you would rather cheat out at instant speed.
