The main point of this deck is to stall early game against ramp/burn decks and once you hit 3 mana get out one of the many kill combos.

I like the idea of having a solid aggro based deck with the ability of controlling the board as well.

I've been play testing this in standard tournaments quite a bit and have seen very good results so far. Although I would like some input and suggestions for improvement, I can see a lot of potential here.

I just played 5 games with a friend running his mono green Aggro/Ramp deck, I was only able to win one of the games by delaying his creatures(Detention Sphere/Feeling of Dread/Etc.)

This was not using the sideboard (x3 Supreme Verdict) as I didn't have my whole deck here at work. I'm sure that would of had a huge impact against his style of deck.

I'll be updating the deck to include:

  • Mainboard

3x Rootborn Defenses (Need to populate the Angel produced by Geist of Saint Traft & keep him in play) -3 Druid's Deliverance (Rootborn Defenses will replace the need for these for the most part)
