NOT GRUUL? THEN DIE!

My playgroup has been dominated by blue decks or decks acting as blue decks, so I originally built this deck out of cards I literally had sitting in a box with me that night. I sat out round one as I put it together and then proceeded to stomp each and every one of their faces in with my superior Gruul intellectual battle strategies (if it's big, play it. If you played it, turn it sideways). One of my friends even said the now infamous words around our table "That deck is not fair, you just keep playing big creatures!".

I'm usually into control decks in constructed formats and just wanted a change of pace for EDH. After that night of ramping into fatties, I fell in love with this deck. Even though I know it would technically be more optimal if I used another commander, I love how Ruric Thar plays. I dare you to try it!

I'm mainly looking for advice on cards to acquire to make this the best it can be or ideas of cards to cut for strictly better ones. I just want this to be competitive for a long time in my group now that we're all investing more time and money into our decks and theirs keep improving.
