January 6, 2017. Aether Revolt full spoiler complete. One card however, I predict shall break standard. There has been talk of this combo before, and I wanted to make a deck for the combo that could break standard. Felidar Guardian + Saheeli Rai . You play Felidar Guardian, blink Saheeli Rai. Use Saheeli's -2, create another guardian. Blink saheeli, repeat. Saheeli's tokens have haste, so swing 1,000,000,000 damage plus. Counterspells/removal once guardian has resolved do stop this. But what if you counter their counter? The deck will stop combo stoppers, and be built against aggro, with lost of card draw/scry to get our combo. Suggestions are welcome, and feel free to debate my card choices. I built the control cards based off of Carlos Romao's jeskai control list that went into the finals, and the land base is from the daily magic update that featured this deck.
