Welcome to my (somehow missed) Zacama Variation! I feel they are fantastic and with some tweaking, come down quite consistently and early. 3 heads are definitely better than one, when it comes to the legend of all legendary Dinos.
This the direction that is feeling right so far, some tweaking still to be done.
Competitively speaking Zacama, Primal Calamity is probably too slow in many cases as the game will often be decided already one way or another. It would be nice in grindier matchups and it’s nice being able to repeatedly take out a wide variety of stuff with the activated abilities.
The blazing fast aggro decks (Goblins etc) can be kept nicely in check with Instant speed sweepers and going Naya opens up the option for using Deafening Clarion. Volcanic Fallout Is my favourite choice for a sweeper but having some combination of 6+ has felt good. Then there is the extra value with Enrage Dinos from the sweepers to keep in mind.
Considering
In general, keeping a plan of slowing down aggro decks, slamming down some good value/great blockers then finishing with the namesake itself. Fighting would be good especially for Wayward pre 10 permanents. Domri, Anarch of Bolas would be my choice for that, also as a great multi tool, ramping etc.
Growing Rites of Itlimoc
Help dig for key creatures and ramp to an earlier Zacama. I’ve always loved this card but haven’t used it much in Dinos. It’d be nice with Zacama though, having a good mana sink to gain more use out of the abilities each turn.
