This is my Favorite Deck and by far, my most sucessful. She won me many tournaments at my local card shop and now that I'm getting back into magic, I'm updating her for the times. It works on the basic Tribal synergy of More Zombies, the better. Lord of the Undead and Undead Warchief both power up even the smallest of my zombies while the Lord also ensures they'll keep coming back from the dead. Zombie Trailblazer can nullify almost any wall of defensive creatures by turning any opponent's land into a swamp and bestowing swampwalk on any of my creatures. The point being to make your heavy hitters unblockable, keeping a modest defense to receive unwelcome guests on your opponent's turn. The biggest weapon in this deck, however, is without doubt, the Soulless One . These things grow with every Zombie in play or even those already killed off. They are a perfect answer to an enemy's Wrath of God or any other mass creature kill. Combined with the Trail Blazer, the Soulless can deal incredible amounts of direct damage to an opponent no matter what is on the field. Grave Defiler also allows you to quickly siphon through your deck to bring more undead fun to the party.Lastly. the third and just as diabolical, and even more unstoppable, Gempalm Polluter is to be cycled to cause direct life-loss for every Zombie on the field. Even if your opponent plays control and somehow neutralizes the creature battle, you can still field your army then cycle them for a backhanded win.Combine this with the Lord of the Undead and you will have an eternal cycle of drawing cards and bleeding your enemy's lifeblood without a single Counter-able spell. Also, Grave Titan is a 6/6 for 6 who comes with an entourage. Working with the Trailblazer, his sidekicks can be tapped for the Swamp and Swampwalk abilities to stronger Zombies while the Titan himself, uses Deathtouch to clear the board of anything particularly nasty the opponent has, also adding 3 Power and Toughness to any Soulless already on the field by that point. The true power of this deck is that all the pieces can fit together in any number of ways to build a devastating war machine. Even without the closers, with just a few War Chiefs and Lords, the smallest of this deck's Zombies become very big (and often reoccuring) problems. The game can often end long before the Titan or Soulless even need to be played.

Finally updating my most successful tournament deck. After much research I found some really great Zombies that earned spots in this deck. I took out Putrid Imp for the more replayable Gravecrawler and added Walking Corpse . Finally having 4 Lord of the Undead allowed me to at last drop the Gravedigger in favor of the cheaper and more offensive Warpath Ghoul . The biggest game changer, however, has been substituting Gravespawn Sovereign for the Grave Titan as my big 6 mana closer. Running off the Soulless or the Trail Blazer, I always found myself holding the Sovereign in my hand in favor of cheaper zombies to get more on the board to power those two abilities. Now, the Titans are great late game additions to me army that see endless playtime. WhiIe buiIding a Zombie EDH deck, I stumbIed across Cemetery Reaper and I'm considering Corpse Harvester to thin my deck, increase my curve and improve my draw and Defiler reveals; although having 4 Defiler with constant reanimation has served me weII thus far as opposed to Commander/EDH when I onIy have 1
