Deck Changelog

7/16: Swapped Liliana's Standard Bearer for Mystic Remora. The Standard Bearer was another M21 stamped promo card I pulled but found it to be too situational. Traded for Mystic Remora and going to give it a go. Cut Vault of the Archangel for Dismal Backwater. The land is cool but the effects never came to be relevant in my meta and I would like more blue mana. Gonna try out Lazotep Reaver instead of Gift of Estates. Two mana for two zombie bodies sounds decent.

7/15: Swapped Foulmire Knight for Murderous Rider, the ability to target removal planeswalkers is helpful. Cut Smothering Tithe for Sower of Discord. Tithe, while ridiculously strong, wasn't a fun way to break ahead. I'd rather cause mass damage with a badass demon. Cut Gift of Immortality for Relentless Dead. Gift was always targetting Varina or a big zombie like Grave Titan, but with all my recursion and card selection I found Gift was redundant and not worth a slot. Relentless Dead I FINALLY found in a trade and the card is just insane obviously. Instant include. Trying out Dovin's Veto instead of Dance of the Manse. Dance has never impressed and another piece of interaction could be useful.

7/14: Cut Kindred Discovery for Teferi's Ageless Insight. Teferi's is nearly as good with Varina's triggered ability and frees up budget for other cards. Cut Corpse Harvester for Liliana, Death's Majesty, usually not a fan of planeswalkers but got this Lilana in a trade so trying her out. Gives us the opportunity to recure our non-zombies as zombies. Harvester is cool but too slow usually and there aren't insane targets for a 7 mana tutor. The additional land tutor is sort of interesting though, as Varina loves to have extra cards in hand to keep the cards we want from looting. Would like to hear feedback from other zombie players about their experience with Corpse Harvester.

7/10: Cut Noosegraf Mob for Cemetery Reaper. Finally was able to trade for Reaper. By the time I could cast Noosegraf I already had enough zombies to get Varina's triggered ability snowballing. Cut Stitch Together for Reanimate, strictly better.

7/9: Cut Fallen Shinobi for Massacre Wurm. Was my prelease promo! Gotta put it in.
