The deck is built around Bridge from Below

Leyline of the Void keeps the bridge alive.

Putrid Imp gets the Bridge in the graveyard. I used to run Rotting Rats as well but have since dropped them.

I used to use Carrion Feeder as a sacrifice engine. But have since then opted for Skulltap and being more aggressive and attacking with my zombies, especially if Vengeful Dead or Undead Warchief is on the board and a Bridge is in the graveyard. If there is no bridge, vengeful dead, or warchief, i usually sit and wait.

Apprentice Necromancer puts himself in the grave, and can bring back whatever zombie i would like, essentially making 2 2/2 zombie tokens.

Apprentice Necromancer also does fun things when i have one already in the graveyard and one in play. spend 1 black mana sac the one in play, bringing back the one in the graveyard, spend another black and sac the one just returned returning the one i had sacked earlier. Repeat as many times as i have 1 black mana to spare. popping out a small army of 2/2 zombie tokens.
