This is a casual/semi-competitive, mostly 1 vs 1 deck, which I refer to as a "smash" deck, because that is what it does. Exclusively. Aiming to be a ferocious, yet FUN deck to play, it does well enough in a casual multiplayer setting, but it'll have a tough time against multiple competitive decks. One on one is where it truly shines though and with good draws, will easily outpace "better" decks. Tailored to fit Zurgo's ferocity, I have removed and added many a card and slowly chiseled away the useless and not so good and as it stands now, is probably the fastest non-green, triple color EDH deck I've built.

Zurgo's armory is stocked with useful things that elevate his damage output and make him hit your opponent in the jewels. There is so much of it, your opponent will have a hard time removing it all. This is complemented by a selection of board wipes and land destruction to lock down and ruin your opponents plays. The handful of creatures also mostly function in a complementary role to Zurgo's tactics.
