Hello!

Welcome to my deck page. I’ve been a Magic player on and off since I was about 8 years old. I first started playing in when Invasion was released and I had no idea how to play, I just liked the art work.

I now don’t get to play very often, after the pandemic I stopped playing going to my LGS and moved house which made it a bit more tricky. However since the recent return to Phyrexia it has reignited my spark for magic.

I use this site to brew EDH decks I think would be fun to pilot but probably won’t actually build them in paper, I may proxy them though, considering Wizards now thinks proxies are worth £1000.00

Hope you enjoy the decks posted and I hope you find inspiration from them for your own brews!

Idoneity Thanks! I did originally have catastrophe in but it was cut as its 6 mana and Armageddon/ Ravages of war are 4.

MrXilas I found a winds of abandon in my collection and was thinking of running it as a board wipe anyway, so that combo could work… not sure what other cuts I would make to include it though

TheoryCrafter thank you for the suggestions. I take your point about Tsunami, it is included as my pod plays a lot of blue lol, but yes it could be cut in terms of general deck building.

I really like Nahiri's Lithoforming considering how mich recursion there is, thats a really good suggestion

StarRushford thanks for pointing that out, it’s currently in its first draft and I have added a couple things in and thought I had made enough cuts.

Esper Sentinel has gone in and I have removed some cards that buff the tokens, Eldrazi Monument and another, I have added Pyroblastfoil & Red Elemental Blast as interaction for counterspells.

TheoryCrafter That is a good card, I’m not sure what I would cut from the land destruction cards for it though.

What I really want is a bit more consistent card draw, can you think of anything that could work in that category?

It sounds as if Elemental Bond is still the better choice… I always imagine Henge to pop off with some form of dork heavy deck like Chulane.

I don’t, I’d love to design my own one day, or a playmat.

Bobylicious thank you! I did consider that but I chose not to include because it does get lands back for each player, which I don’t really want to happen lol.

I would definitely opt for Elemental Bond over The Great Henge based on your comment. Sounds like it ticks every box.

I can’t really think of a better option, you could alternatively look at “when you attack with” triggers draw but that doesn’t sound as consistent. Would only net 1-2 draw a turn but if Elemental Bond could get a lot more.
