I've been playing magic since the Shards of Alara block, but have developed a taste for the older modern blocks (Ranvica!). My favorite part of Magic: the Gathering is building my deck. Inventing flavourful themes and applying interesting mechanics to my decks are what I strive for as a magic player. It doesn't particularly matter to me if the deck does well, although I try to do my absolute best to make the deck work as well as possible while staying true to its theme.

When I play, the game isn't about winning or losing for me. The matches I enjoy are the ones that are most interesting. I'd rather lose to my opponent dropping Chancellor of the Spires, copying the Cackling Counterpart in my graveyard seventeen trillion times by complete chance (true story) then to stomp a player who was down by four lands since turn two. The shenanigans and madness that can happen in M:tG are what make the game so great. However, I deject people take advantage of these quirks to make the game unfair or unpleasant for others.
