My name is John, I'm a Dutch EDH player. I started playing Magic around 2014 just before Commander 2014 came out. I started with modern and casual and slowly deviated towards EDH after a couple of months and it has been my favourite format ever since. Both the complexity of the format in regard to both the deck-building proces and the exercise of playing itself, as well as the multiplayer aspect of the commander, appeal to me greatly.

I mostly love playing control-based or tool-box creature decks; the power level of my local meta varies between relatively causual to highly optimized semi-competitive decks. I have thus regimented the power level of my own decks such, that it aligns and scales accordingly. As such I have constructed the following decks: two mid-tier decks: Queen Marchesa and Omnath, Locus of Rage, a deck that breaches the gap between mid-tier and the 70% to 90% optimized range: Nezahal, Primal Tide, and finally three different highly optimized and/or semi-competitive lists: Captain Sisay, Tasigur, the Golden Fang and Yisan, the Wanderer Bard.
