Hey guys, I'm Brandon. I've been playing Magic since Avacyn Restored block, but i got my first cards during Kamigawa block at summer camp. I got serious about EDH specifically around Return to Ravnica/Theros, but it's kinda hard for me to pinpoint exactly. My first commander deck was Kaervek, the Merciless group slug.
Its not hard to guess that i gradually developed into a cutthroat Spike player. I took my Ghave, Guru of Spores precon and gradually tuned it into a finely crafted, beautiful 75% deck. When that deck started to not be fast or consistent enough, I sought out faster strategies in Abzan which led me to Karador, Ghost Chieftain.
After a brief stint away, I grew to playing Breakfast Hulk, one of the fastest combo decks in the format, and am currently piloting Shimer Zur. Alongside Zur, I currently have Muldrotha, the Gravetide, affectionately dubbed "Mama Muls", and is a typical graveyard shenanagins type deck, but still containing a Flash Hulk combo for old times sake, and Ramos, who seeks to win solely with Maze's End, Door to Nothingness, and Mayael's Aria.
Howdy guys, I'm Jon. I started getting into Magic with the c17 precons and have been hooked ever since. I have always been fascinated by interesting and off the wall interactions between cards, causing me to branch out into the weird side of the format. That birthed some oddball lists and started my never-ending quest to always brew outside the box.
Over the last year or so of playing EDH, I have tried to constantly push the boundaries of what CAN be done, with no regard to if it SHOULD be done. For this reason I almost never keep a deck put together very long and have an unscratchable itch for all things weird.
As of now, my only consistent deck is an Elenda List Featuring Worldslayer alongside a revolving door of creations.
