I've been off the game for, what, 1.5 years? Currently trying to get up to speed again without going overboard.

Born 1985, European, Gamer (Console&PC, Pen'n'Paper, MtG), Hobby Game Designer (a few board games and several variations of the classics, pen'n'paper resources, procrastinating so i don't get a serious grip on video game design), escapist by nature, occasional climber, johnny player.

Likes: A good story, creativity, discovering new ideas, smart but easygoing people, games, anime, philosophy, cooking, eating, artworks, science, justice, and so on...
Dislikes: Smartasses, Dumbasses... Well, Just don't be an ass. Brussels sprouts, conformity, regularity, housework, call of duty, people who can't enjoy their dessert but still eat one, Dogmatic thinking, religious fanatics... Hm. I also don't like listing every single thing I don't like.

I am both rational and instinctive. I value self-knowledge and understanding of the world; my ultimate goal is self-improvement and improvement of the world around me. At best, I am focused and methodical; at worst, I am obsessive and amoral.

Legacy is my favorite format. Although tournaments are mostly held in standard or modern, I simply like the incredible variety of cards that can be used in a Legacy deck, as building the deck is almost more fun to me than playing it. I usually choose my cards for their versatility, like Green Sun's Zenith or Vedalken Engineer for example. That way, I can reuse most of the money cards in many decks and don't have to spend loads of money every time I build a new deck.

I like shenanigans, counter/token decks and prefer reusable cards and permanents over one-shot cards. The decks I like are versatile, unpredictable for the opponent, and, what's most important, have some kind of tricky knack to them that separates them from typical everyday simple decks.
