I am Laurens (Facebook), born in 1984, and freelance workshop trainer in personal leadership living in Amsterdam (NL). I'm always open for friendly casual players in the area! You can find my decks here :-)

My decks:

• Timmy-Johnny hybrid - appealing to "fun & flavour" and "skills & strategy" players
• Spike-cEDH avoiding - no infinite combos, insta-wins, or stax strategies
• Power levels - ranging 3 to 6 (casual)
• Mid-/late game - deck engine runs on turn 5, able to kill three passive opponents around turn 8-10
• Choose Your Commander (CYC) - most decks have 2+ eligible commanders with diverse power levels, boosting re-playability and balanced play
• Fun to play against - make cool things happen, we play magic to have a good time
• Interaction - spells that either hit or boost certain opponents too provide fun game leverage

My play style:

• "Well-played!" - grant players their achievements, compliment each other
• "That was epic!" - aim for big turn games of 12-18 upbeat turns / 30-60 minutes
• "Keep going" - keep a fun turn pace & strategy, don't slow down the game
• "Wanna make a deal?" - encourage quick negotiations for teaming up and balanced play
• "Recap?" - encourage learning from deck designs and gameplay together

Beloved additional "Timmy" game rules:

• "Hail to the King" - the fourth player starts off as the monarch
• "Thassa's Anticipation" - at the beginning of each player's draw step, that player may scry 1
• "Chromatic Battlefield" - spend mana as though it were mana of any type
