(I am new to this site and currently learning how it works! )

I started playing magic around the release of Ice Age (1995). I played until the release of Urza's Saga (1998). So most of my cards are old, and my decks that used to be tournament legal are now in a obscure format, and many are banned or restricted. I used to play tournaments, and have my DCI card from 1999. The game has changed drastically since then. I never actually stopped playing, but rather most of my friends stopped, so I had no one to play. I played sporadically, until a year ago, when I began to visit some comic shops and play casual games with people. It seems that my decks upset people because some of the cards, and are way outdated. Also, some newer decks just destroyed me - a lot of new cards a very powerful. Overall, magic has changed, and is more complicated. Currently, I am working on updating my old decks to a tournament friendly format, and actually creating decks from newer cards that are legal.

My favorite color is blue. I can create so many good decks from the blue cards I have. Control is my favorite. Black is another favorite color of mine. Discard and suicide decks are a lot of fun. Lastly, I like green. Red and white are my least favorite, and I have not had many decks of these colors.

I am looking for advice and help updating my decks. Some I would like to keep as-is, for the sake of nostalgia. Its fun to play someone with a deck that contains cards so old theyve never even seen them. Especially a Stasis deck. ANNOYING.
