Heya, I assume you're here from the school club. I got my first magic cards back in tenth edition, but only picked up a few packs of rise of the eldrazi, before returning much later for dark ascension and return to ravnica.

Anyway I like brewing silly jank combos and durdly stuff. I also have a soft spot for blazing fast efficient stuff because of the reactions it gets from my opponent. I love the idea of powerful control and lockouts from the power trip, but the high wears off fast and I like playing that stuff only occasionally if the playgroup isn't competitively minded. If they are, it's quite enjoyable to find the balance of everybody slinging "unfun" powerful control at each other. Discard, Mass LD and Tap lockouts are pretty good gameplay if you stop looking at 1 turn as one unit of measurement of time for things to happen.

I'm mostly into EDH at the moment because the long silly games are the best.

Conspiracy is the best set. Red is the best color. I want to draft Homelands with a group of fellow masochists for the lols.
