Howdy! What to put on here...uh...been playing Magic off and on since Tempest/Stronghold, for one. Learned during those expansions, got my own cards during Prophesy, lost contact with the game around Apocalypse due to someone stealing my deck, got back into the swing of things with Scourge, been playing fairly regularly ever since.
I'm an unusual breed of Magic gamer - I believe that, in building a deck, you breathe a sort of life into it and that different decks have different personalities. This is very similar to the 'Heart of the Cards' kind of mentality if you're familiar with it. I'm also adverse to buying cards online. I much prefer to barter and trade cards based on how much I think I will use a card/want a card than shelling out cold hard cash.
Friends call me the 'Angel Guy' or 'Angelic Planeswalker'. Once I even got the 'Son of Serra'; reason being I do everything in my power to collect every single anel card out there. I'm a little behind due to lack of funds, but I've been very successful otherwise. At this moment I believe I am missing 8 different angel cards - I will provide a list when I can find it.
Though in my early days I was a heavy Green/White/Blue player, Red/White has quickly become my favorite color combination, but I will play almost anything that includes White. Reason being the White mentality is easiest for me to deal with.
I have a tendancy to be sentimental with my deck ideas - I'm very open to constructive critisism, but when I'm practically told to scratch my entire deck idea for something that uses only two of the cards I originally had because it 'doesn't fit the norm' or various other reasons, I have a tendancy to get offended. I try to stave these feelings off, but I'm not always successful, so please don't get offended if I get defensive - you're messing with my babies, after all.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. :) I'm friendly and love to help out fellow planeswalkers when I get the chance.
