  • get price information or see the total value of your whole inventory
  • share decks with others

  • see lists of your decks (under Folder)
  • update your binder (a trade binder populated with cards you are willing to trade on TappedOut.net)
  • create a Wishlist

How to Upload a CSV to your Inventory

If you’ve been tracking your inventory elsewhere and have a CSV file that you’d like to import to TappedOut.net, you can easily migrate your MTG card collection to our site!

First, navigate to your inventory. You can access your inventory by clicking the file folder icon in the navigation bar. A pop up should appear.

Click the button that says Inventory, then click the button that says Edit.

Next, click the tab that says ‘As CSV.’

There are seven sections where you can specify the purpose of a column, but there are only three that are required for import. These are Qty column, Card column, and Set name column. Note that set names or codes must match how they appear on the TappedOut set page.

The other sections are the Language column, Condition column, Foil qty column, and Multiverse id column.

Once you hit save, your CSV will be processed. If there are errors, you’ll have to fix them before your CSV will process. Often errors will occur if you use the incorrect set name.

If you have foils or prerelease cards, you can denote this with a Foil qty column. Typing yes under this column will mark it a foil while leaving a cell blank or typing no will identify that it is not a foil card. Typing PRE in this column will identify the card as a prerelease card.

Find Deck Feature

This feature looks at the cards in your deck and shows you different decks you could build with them.

You can find this function by navigating to your inventory page. Toward the top of the page will be a blue box that says Find Decks. Once you click this box, you’ll be prompted to pick the format and colors of the deck. Click the search button.

A list of decks will populate. Under each deck will be the words In Inventory and a percentage. This is the percentage of cards you already have in your inventory. Beneath that will be Build Cost and a price. This is what it will cost you to complete the deck.

Sync Your Deck

Syncing a deck allows you to import the cards from that deck into your inventory. You can add a deck to your inventory by checking the box that says Sync with Inventory in the deck edit page. You’ll find this option toward the bottom of the deck edit page.

Owned Cards Only

An easy way to add cards to your inventory can be by utilizing the Owned Cards Only option. Navigate to your inventory then click the blue button labeled Filters. In the Filters section, you’ll see a pre-checked box for Owned Cards Only. If you uncheck this box, you can search cards by set and easily add new cards to your inventory.

Wishlist

Your wishlist is a great way to help you keep track of the cards you want to acquire. When you add cards to your trade binder or your aquireboard, these cards will populate under your wishlist. You can also add to your wishlist using need syntax when building a deck, cube, or list.

Here’s an example of need syntax: 1x Demonic Tutor Need: 2

From the wishlist, you can make purchases. Just click the checkout button then pick TCGPlayer or CardKingdom. This will populate the shopping cart with the cards in your wishlist on the card retailer site you chose.
