FNM! Friday Night Magic

Great store! Really great group of people who play there, except for this one guy who rarely is there that NO ONE in town likes. (trust me, i've asked five different shops, and everyone hates him) Good stock, good competition, good prices.

They specialize in Warhammer, Magic, and Vangaurd, and have a good stock concerning supplies for any of the major games.

For the most part the crowd is great but there is a small group of insufferable douche bags. There's the unstoppable pro tour player that is for some reason never listed in the top 8 as the worst offender. I've never seen him play, he just walks around and tries to insult everyone. I've also witnessed him look at unattended cards but haven't seen him pocket anything, yet. There's also another individual who couldn't be any less enthused about playing the game and is constantly on his phone. This sucks because the staff are amazing and the rest of the play group are good people. There's a few offensively smelly turds that ruin the venue. I'm going to try another venue tonight and have a guy feeling I'll never play at CJ's again.

Trandonstein You must mean Rasputin. He goes around town to every shop and does that. Most of the crowd is good and we generally try to keep the douches away. Hell, Rasputin's name has become taboo.

Trandonstein Plus none of the douches are regulars. Heck I haven't seen Rasputin (the insulting asswipe with a superiority complex) in a month. He rotates around each week to a different store because no one can stand him two weeks in a row. Give the shop a second chance. The douches probably won't be there.

Made some adjustments to the deck, which performed admirably during its first playtesting at FNM,going 3-1.Of particular note were Guardians of Meletis, who provided a solid defender as well as evolution source for a paltry cost, and MVP Centaur Battlemaster, who snatched a couple of victories from the jaws of defeat; in one …
